The little studs are made from reclaimed sterling silver while the posts and backings are also sterling silver. These studs are hand forged and hand cut by the designer, Christine Street. They measure roughly 5 mm (1/2 a centimeter).
They are organically cut to have texture and design (not completely smooth ball earrings).
The Chocolate and Steel studio makes every effort to tread lightly on the planet. The design studio is powered by wind & solar, they use recycled paper for their packaging, and all jewelry is made with recycled sterling silver.
All of their jewelry is handmade in the United States, including their chains.
