greendesign was started in 2008 as a brick-and-mortar store where people could touch and feel the many environmentally-friendly products they found on the internet but hesitated to buy what they hadn't seen in-person. in 2013 we were named the "best eco-friendly store" by philadelphia magazine. in july of 2020 we lost our lease at our princeton location and have now moved to the neighboring town of hopewell nj.

items can be purchased on the web site or over the phone (609.651.4643) for curbside pickup. we have an abundance of free parking at our hopewell, nj location on the streets in front and to the side as well as in the parking lot in back of our store.
